Clever use of Celtic roots within the illustration. Good luck!

Thanks Debbie - there's a time flip in this novel, that helps Molly rediscover her creativity amongst other things, and the Tree of Life is significant too, hence the Celtic roots.

Yes, Independent bookshops are so important. I do the same, visit them whenever I'm in a new town that has one. Your journey is inspiring, Sue.

Love this and am so looking forward to Molly landing in my letterbox. I have an article coming out in Britain in the New Year about witches, which I called The Burning Time (don't know what they'll call it).

Independent bookshops are a joy. Have you seen the film The Bookshop? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bookshop_(film)

Thanks for ordering your signed copy from me, Elspeth. I'm so pleased you're going to get to read about Ann Watson and the others accused of witchcraft in the Newcastle Witch Trials of 1649. Dark days for women.

Yes, The Bookshop is a wonderful film

Independent bookshops are so important as they are at the heart of community reading I think. The cover looks great. I think the cattle approve too Sue 👍😊

Sue Reed's avatar

Oh, so pleased the cows approve. Thanks Lucy ☺️

The cover is wonderful and it looks like the sycamore tree that was sadly torn down a while ago 🌳

Sue Reed's avatar

It is the tree at Sycamore Gap. We live a stone's throw from here, and the felling of that iconic tree plays an important part in the story.

I love that area and that sounds amazing!
