This was such an interesting read for me as I'm currently discussing with one of my writing groups whether it would be possible for us to create an anthology of the stories. This shows it can be done. I will add this to my reading list. ๐๐ผ
Absolutely @Lisa Fransson - youโre welcome to message me any time. Iโm not an expert in publishing but I can certainly let you know how it went for us ๐
Itโs something Iโm considering and looking into as well.
Iโve met someone on linked in who creates books of 25 stories (on rare diseases) and she now coaches those who might be included in how to write their story. She also edits and publishes.
I wouldnโt want to do all that myself but she clearly knows whatโs sheโs doing ๐
I started my writing journey with the OU. Creative Writing was a brand new module back in 2006, it looks like itโs developed immensely since then. How wonderful to be involved in something like this. Ordered my copy of Cloud Sneezing โบ๏ธ
I love hearing when my Book Room posts connect readers with writers. Thanks Lesley, I'm sure @Charity Reed and the gang will be thrilled to hear you're ordering your copy of Cloud Sneezing. It's a wonderful collection, you won't be disappointed. And yes, three cheers for the OU. ๐
Itโs a lovely surprise to see this today! Iโm Rose Campbell-Smith (one of the authors mentioned, though itโs Rose rather than Rosemary). I didnโt realize this post was being made as no one from the Cloud Sneezing group had approached me, but itโs great to see the book out there and get some publicity. Could I just ask for a quick update to my name in the post? Thanks so much!

Oh, great. I'm sure @Charity Reed would be happy to chat.

Thank you so much. ๐๐ผ Weโre still very much at the ideas stage, so nothing is happening in any rush. ๐ค
I look forward to seeing it in the published stage - it's so exciting when that happens ๐

I loved both the undergraduate Creative Writing modules so much I started the masterโs last October - it really is a great university ๐
So glad to connect with another graduate and we all hope you enjoy Cloud Sneezing!
